The United Arab Emirates, and Abu Dhabi in particular, hold a special place in my travels.
I spent part of my adolescence in Abu Dhabi, where we lived with my parents.
I attended the Lycée Louis-Massignon in Abu Dhabi for a few years and experienced things in the Emirates that you only see and experience there.
Back when we lived there, Dubaï was just one long road and a few rather small buildings compared to Abu Dhabi.
We went there for one reason only: the shopping mall and its Fun Planet, where we spent the whole day, then returned to Abu Dhabi.
So many memories...
Later, I returned to Abu Dhab and then Dubaï on several occasions and for various reasons, and of course, as a tourist to enjoy the countless activities on offer.
Naturally, as a big fan of beautiful cars, they feature quite prominently in my photos.
