The fantastic island: Reunion Island

I spent a few months on Réunion Island and was able to explore almost the entire island. Between hiking, volcanoes, lagoons, and beaches… Saint-Paul, Boucan Canot, Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, L'Hermitage, Trou d'Eau, Petite Ravine, Saint-Leu, Pointe au Sel, Le Souffleur, L'Étang-Salé, Saint-Louis, Saint-Pierre, Petite Île, Tremblet beach and its famous 2007 lava flow, Sainte-Rose, Saint-Benoît, Sainte-Suzanne, and Saint-Denis for the coast, and Salazie, Maïdo, Trois-Roches, Cilaos, Piton de la Fournaise, and Piton des Neiges for the highest peaks and hiking trails. There is so much to see on Réunion and so many people from very different backgrounds to meet. Be sure to taste everything you can find or are offered, as it will certainly be a delight.
